Broadway at the Beach is Myrtle Beach's award winning 350-acre shopping, dining, and entertainment extravaganza. Broadway at the Beach wraps around a 23-acre lake and boasts 700,000 square feet of retail space. As the largest festival entertainment complex in South Carolina, more than 12 million people visit Broadway at the Beach each year. The most recent addition to the festival market place opened in the summer of 2004. The new "Heros Harbor" district at the east end of Lake Broadway includes the 15,000 square foot Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Cafe.
